Sharing Peace

Last week we were honored to be a part of a gathering with our resettled Congolese neighbors, Richmond Peace Education Center ☮, and a team of visitors from Bukavu, DR Congo. Samuel and Faida visited Richmond to share how they are working towards peace and conflict resolution, and they encouraged us to do the same.

They taught students at Henrico High School, visited Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, and spend time with our resettled Congolese Neighbors. We are grateful for the connections they made here in Richmond, and for their work across the globe.

Thank you to community volunteer, Leslie Saul, for hosting Samuel and Faida and making this gathering possible.
